Jeg tror, at hvis du sletter hele stien, vil den lede i home eller hjemmemappen. Du kan jo prøve igen og lægge filen begge steder. Husk at hvis du flytter til home er du nødt til at bruge sudo. Prøv eventuelt også at indtaste stien /Filsystem/home/

Ok Home mappen er vist også /home og ikke /Home.

Det jeg mener er at du kan oprette og ligge filen der så den ligger hvor systemet kigger efter den. Du kan gøre det med følgende kommando:

og så kan du flytte filen til mappen med denne:

Tak for hjælpen og svarene. Nu er det glædeligvis lykkedes at få fuldført installationen. Det hjalp tilfældigvis at skrive stien korrekt - /home og ikke /Home... (!) - tak AJenbo

Derfor var jeg ovenud lykkelig. Indtil jeg lige ville tjekke i Cheese, og fik nedenstående smøre af en tilbagemelding.
og så blev jeg lidt ulykkelig igen.

Jeg tror ikke google søgning forgår særligt anderledes bare fordi man benytter Ubuntu Jeg ville nok søge efter noget i stil med: "unexpected frame size gstv4l2src isight".

men det er så der problemet opstår, at jeg hurtigt står af ift. søgeresultaterne. det er noget over niveau.

Der er tilsyneladende lavet adskillige bug rapporter om problemet, og diskuteret i div. fora. Men jeg kan ikke umiddelbart finde god løsningsforslag.

Løsningen er desværre ikke helt komplet endnu. Det er dog muligt, at det er et andet problem, som jeg her er løbet ind i.

iSight web kameraet fungerer glimrende i Cheese. Men det findes ikke i Skype.
Når kameraet er aktiveret via Cheese lyser en lille grøn diode ved siden af kameraet.

Når jeg under options i Skype prøver kamera 'test'-funktionen, sker der ingenting.
Når jeg under en samtale via Skype prøver at aktivere web kameraet via 'Start my camera' aktiveres dioden kortvarigt og samtalen bliver kortvarigt afbrudt/pauset af processen, hvorefter dioden slukker igen.

Videoforbindelsen fra samtalepartnere går fint igennem til mig.

Jeg tror ikke det har forbindelse, men når jeg åbner Skype via terminalen får jeg følgende:

I forummet har jeg ikke kunnet finde en løsning. Problemet der behandles i tråden nedenfor er det snarere det omvendte
