I am one of two teamleaders for the Swedish LoCo. In Sweden we have had a very very good development for the last 1,5 years. We had about 500 members in July 2006, 1.5 years later we are now about 7000 members. We are still growing very fast.
First of all, I have noticed a lot of activities from Denmark on my Swedish blog for Ubuntu: http://ubuntu-bossieman.blogspot.com/ and I have also received a lot of danish emails about my blog. I'm sorry if this sounds like commercials for my blog, its not my intentions, its more about a proposal.
My blog has been a very big success and is on the top 10 IT blogs in Sweden.
With about 500 unique visitors each day and about 100 000 uniqe vistors since the start 2007/01 it has been one of many parts in the sucess of Ubuntu in Sweden. So now after the commercials, is anyone here interested in translating my blog to danish? That means that some people here translates and uses a danish blog that is a copy of my blog.
The blog is aiming for new users and has been an important tool for new users in Sweden. I wrote a very detailed guide for 7.04 and I'm planning a very detailed guide for 8.04 LTS that will cover everything

In our Swedish LoCo we have tried for about a year to use 'faddrar' to help new registered members. Faddrar is like on the university, the guys (or girls) that help and guide the newcomers to the university. We have a group of about 15 persons that are dedicated to help new users to manage the first steps of Ubuntu. We help with tips and ideas a.s.o.
This has been a really big success and we have managed to keep the newcomers to Ubuntu.
I would also like to know about the progress of the Danish LoCo team, hom is it going, are you guys growing?
Thanks
