Jeg har lige installeret 10.04 lts på en spritny compaq,og stort set alt funker....mangler bare lyden, og den er ikke
slået fra
Får følgende output i terminal:

Iøvrigt finder den heller ikke noget trådløst, men det er jo en anden snak....

i en terminal og tjekke om der er skruet op for alt her og intet er mutet. Hvis du er i tvivl kan du blot copy-paste (brug højrekliksmenuen) alsa-mixeren herind i tråden, så kikker vi på den.
Du kan afslutte alsamixer med ESC.

Du må også gerne aflevere output af:

Hmm. Kan du få lyd med hovedtelefoner?
Har du opdateret efter installationen?
Hvilken alsa-version har du:

Kunne du eventuelt prøve at køre en Live-cd med ubuntu 11.10 for at se om det virker ud af æsken med seneste ubuntu-version?

For mig kunne det godt lugte lidt som om den kun har fundet lydkortet til HDMI udgangen på grafikortet. Hvad får du med:
