Hej I kloge mennesker.
Jeg har lidt problemer med update-manager, der godt nok kommer med update varsel og også fungerer under updating. Men hvis jeg efter programmet har sagt, at updaten er færdig, så trykker på check boxen, kommer der flg. meddelelse, som også ledsages af en rød trekant i panelet:

Det forstår jeg ikke noget af, så hvad kan jeg gøre for at løse problemet. Jeg har tilsyneladende ikke nogle netværksproblemer.

Jeg har oplevet et lignende problem på en desktop med en nyinstalleret 11.04.
Løsningen for mig var at installere aptitude-installationsprogrammet og opdatere ved hjælp af det. Så kom der for alvor hul igennem.
Åbn en terminal og installer aptitude:

Kode: Vælg alt

sudo apt-get install aptitude

og kør derefter

Kode: Vælg alt

sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude upgrade

Jeg har som foreslået installeret aptitude og skrevet teksten på terminalen, og i første omgang forsvandt den røde trekant, så jeg var glad, men desværre kom den igen næste dag med den samme fejlmeddelelse.

Du må tidligere have lavet en fejl da du harforsøgt at redigere den liste på en eller anden måde, åben den ved at køre denne kommando:

gksu gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

og erstat indholdet med det jeg skrev i mit forrige indlæg.
