Hello

Wow, I managed to register without speaking the language :)

I am ready to release ISO Master 1.0. It's an editor for ISO images, and is going to be available in the next release of Ubuntu.

Before I do that I figured it's a good idea to ask around for more translations. There are already 15 of them but not yours :)

If you're interested, please see this page, the technical part should be pretty straightforward.

If you are starting to translate it please send me an email so I know to wait for you to finish before releasing and also it's probably a good idea to post a reply in this thread so noone else does the same work. I was planning to make the release this weekend but I'll wait one more week.

I'm afraid the only reward I can offer it to put your name on the website and in the program's credits :)

Cheers
Pihl

Hi there and welcome to the forum!

Have you considered having your project joining Launchpad, which is the collaboration tool used by Ubuntu and many other projects?

I think your project will benefit very much by doing this, especially on a long term, since e.g. translators are available at Launchpad from countries all over the world.

Hello

No, I've never heard about Launchpad. Had a quick look now, it seems a bit too complicated but I'll see if I can figure it out.

You might want to contact dansk-gruppen (danish group).

They do a lot of translation work for ubuntu, gnome etc.

website: http://danskgruppen.dk/ (in danish)
dansk@dansk-gruppen.dk (e-mail, I'm sure they can help you)

Kind regards

Søren

I didn't get a reply. Oh well, it's shame there will be no Danish version.
