Jeg har haft Ubuntu 8.10 i nogle dage nu, og jeg har ikke været i stand til at se YouTube videoer, pga. at det hele hopper og danser og lyder somom at man drejer på sin LP plade mens den spiller. Glitcher om man vil.
Jeg har installeret Medibuntu og alskens codecs som jeg fandt her på forum. Intet hjælper. I steam står der også noget i retning af "Install the latest Flahplayer". Jeg ved at jeg har den nyeste, og den må virke siden at jeg er i stand til overhovedet at starte videoer på YouTube. Jeg har også reparet packen.
Specs (hvis det kunne have indflydelse)
Pentium D 3.4Ghz
2GB DDR2 RAM
Club 3D Nvidia GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB
Og et bundkort jeg ikke husker hvad hedder, men der blev sat i for ikke så længe siden.

hvis du har fuldt thj01´s gode guide, burde det virke allerede nu.

Jeg kom i tanke om noget fra en anden tråd, har du på et tideligere tidspunkt haft installeret det flash man kan hente på adobe´s hjemmeside ? , vi havde noget bøvl med at det skulle slettes først før den flash vi tideligere har prøvet med i denne tråd virkede.

Jeg installerede alt gennem Terminalen.. Men kunne det måske være en eller anden for bug der ikke bliver registreret? og kunne det i så fald hjælpe at reinstallere Flash?

Hm, det hjalp ikke. YouTube glitcher stadig, og Steam beder stadig om den nyeste version af flashplayer.

1. trin : Aktiver hardware drivere
Hvorfor : Nogle hardware producenter licenserer deres drivere på en måde, så Ubuntu-teamet ikke kan sætte dem op før du gør det aktivt. Dette gælder især for grafikkort (Ati og Nvidia). Du kan blive nød til genstarte computeren efter dette trin.
Gå til System -> Administration -> Hardware drivers og sæt flueben i alle de tomme felter.
