Det er altså mærkeligt at du har problemer med Intel 4965 agn 53-300 mbit.

Da jeg købte min Zepto var der vrøvl med driveren til Zepto's eget trådløse netkort.
Jeg købte så et nyt Intel 4965 agn 53-300 mbit. og monterede alle 3 inv. antenner.

Jeg kører med flere udsk. HD

Hvilken hastighed jeg har vides ikke rigtig da der er flere på linien ud.

Måske det er den trådløse router der er noget galt med. Man kan jo indstille en masse ting i den.
Men det er da bare mærkeligt at 2 andre computere så virker.
Den ene kører trådløst og den anden med kabel, men begge disse maskiner er også med Windows.

Det tror jeg ikke er tilfældet, dine outputs taget i betragtning. Jeg tror at der er et eller andet i din driverinstallering som er gået galt.
Så vi må prøve at tage det helt systematisk og lidt ad gangen.

Du skal finde ud af om din /etc/network/interfaces fil ser ud som jeg har skrevet

Hvis du vil nøjes med at se den, så kan du åbne din home-mappe via 'stifinderen', navigere 2 niveauer op, vælge mappen 'etc'. vælg mappen 'network' og åbne filen 'interfaces'. Du får lov at læse den, men ikke redigere den. Hvis dine interfaces ser ud som jeg har beskrevet er der ikke grund til at gøre mere ved filen.
I modsat fald bruger du terminalen:

gksu gedit /etc/network/interfaces

du bliver bedt om at indtaste din kode, og så åbner filen i en tekstbehandler hvor du har superbruger-rettigheder. Du kan redigere filen og så gemme den igen.

Skal jeg virkelig til at køre Windows igen for at få det til at virke?

Det tvivler jeg nu meget på.

Når jeg går ind i Windows wireless drivers og trykker på Configure Network kommer den frem med denne fejlmeddelse
Could not find a network configuration tool

Den samme melding får jeg selv - den har ingen større praktisk betydning, for du kan alligevel åbne din Network manager i
System > Indstillinger > Network configuration
Prøv lige det her i første omgang.
Næste skridt bliver at se på ndiswrapper
Og så finde ud af om det er de rigtige drivere du har fået hentet.

Fint. Så vidt, så godt. I mellemtiden har jeg været inde på det internationale forum og fundet et par tråde om dit netkort. Som skrevet så er der drivere til kortet indbygget i kernel. Men dem må du på en eller anden måde have fået sat ud af spillet. Jeg tror vi skal se om ikke de kan bringes op igen, inden vi prøver ndiswrapperen. Driveren hedder iwl4965 - og du kan se at den findes ved i terminalen at skrive:

Ja, jeg kan se at du har prøvet at ndiswrappe en driver, som tilsyneladende ikke kan bruges. Du skal have fat i en XP-driver hvor det er NETW4x32.inf som skal installeres. Hvis du et eller andet sted har den (og den tilhørende *.sys-fil) kan du prøve et installere den.
Men først kan du lige så godt først som sidst slette mappen /etc/ndiswrapper/netw5x64:

Hvis du ikke har XP-driveren, så kom igen

Windows Wireless Drivers gik død da jeg installerede netw4x64. Men lukkede det så bare ned og åbnede det igen og der står at driveren er installeret.

Hvis det er tilfældet så burde du nu kunne gå til at konfigurere forbindelsen med NetworkManager (eller WifiRadar eller hvilket netværksredigeringsredskab du nu har installeret)
