16.04 starter langsommere op end 14.04
Jeg har lige opdateret fra 14.04 til 16.04 som køre fint, men starter langsommere op end 14.04. Har jeg sagt "ja" til for meget under opdateringen ? Er der noget jeg kan gøre ?

Det er den firewall du har sat op. Prøv at deaktivere loggen, genstart og kør dmesg igen. Du kan deaktiver loggin via denne kommando:

Ja, der står rigtig meget i Terminalen nu. Har lavet andre ting siden, bla. printet ud. - Hvad skal jeg gøre ? Eller skal jeg stoppe her ? Håber ikke jeg har lavet fejl i Firewallen.

Det ser ud til at du skulle få login skærmen efter ca. 20 sekunder og netværk efter 36.
Er det login der tager lang tid eller hænger den i bootloaderen inden den starter ubuntu?
Du bør i øvrigt også se om det er muligt at opdatere bios på din maskine

Hvordan har du installeret Ubuntu? I UEFI-mode? Hvis det er tilfældet får du intet ud af at opdatere din BIOS da UEFI starter uden om BIOS.
Hvis du ikke har prøvet at flashe en BIOS før vil jeg meget kraftigt fraråde dig at gøre forsøget. Du kan "dræbe" dit mobo i processen, og hvorfor løbe den risiko, når opstart ikke sker via BIOS ?
Jeg mindes ikke at have hørt at en BIOS-opdatering skulle give målbart hurtigere opstart (siden 1991).
I stedet kan vi kigge lidt på din hardware.
Hvor gammel er din maskine?
Hvor meget, og hvilke RAM har du i systemet + Hvilken CPU (clock-speed (GHz))?
Bruger du harddisk eller SSD drev?
