Han er p.t. Uddannelses- og forskningsminister og har været centrum i et par uheldige sager siden sin tiltræden. En af disse handler om at han har glemt (?) at angive kilder korrekt i sin Ph.d afhandling (inklusiv når kilden var hans eget speciale).
