avant/awn  Emnet er løst

Hej jeg har tidligere haft awn og avant på min pc,men efter jeg har haft den formateret 'for at få windows helt væk' så kan jeg ikke få det til at virke.Den skriver noget med ' compiz -fusion mangler' Jeg har prøvet at total fjerne det via synaptic og geninstallere det,men det hjalp ikke.
Jeg ved heller ikke hvad der er galt med mit grafikkort.. den skriver at der er en driver jeg kan bruge men når jeg aktivere den og genstarter bliver skærmen sort og jeg skal starte forfra med at installere ubuntu 9.10

Jeg har nvidia 8500GT pci.Jeg har prøvet at hente de driver den foreslår men hver gang når den er hentet ned og installeret og efter genstart er skærmen sort,men komputeren starter op som den skal,det er bare med sort skærm.Jeg har i mellem tiden fået installeret compizconfig settings manager men det har heller ikke hjulpet.

Alt det eyecandy lir skal bruge Nvidia's driver. Det er derfor det ikke virker.
Der har været en del problemer med den version af xorg som ubuntu bruger, hvilket giver en del problemer for nogen folk.

For at out-rule driver bug, prøv at installere nvidia driver v190.xx

Det hjalp nu kom nvidia x server da frem i system administration men så popper der denne besked op

har prøvet alle ovenstående forsøg men hver gang resultere det i sort skærm,må nok bare leve med at det ikke vil virke længere.. :?

Hej igen nu har jeg prøvet flere gange men hver gang ender det i sort skærm,mens pc'n starter op som den skal.Jeg tror ikke mit grafik kort kan køre ubuntu øv øv
Nu køre systemet i en opløsning der hedder 800 x 600 temmelig irreterende at se på,jeg tror jeg bliver nød til at købe et andet grafikkort hvilke kan evt anbefales.

Jeg bruger selv Nvidia 8800 GTX 768MB funker fint.

Den billigeste metode er at prøve 9.04 da den stadigvæk er supported et godt stykke endnu. Så skal du ikke bruge penge på noget nyt.
